I will be the first to admit that when it comes to any awards show, my favorite part is the red carpet. The beautiful, bold, unique, classic, daring, elegant dresses that grace the red carpet are always what I look forward to the most. There is always a particular style that stands out to me. I don’t know if it’s because I’m in wedding planning mode (and wedding planning is my job) but there were several gowns that reminded me of wedding dresses. Some trends that stood out to me were long sleeves, lace, sheer, strapless, and plunging necklines. So many whites, silvers, ivories, and golds on the red carpet…looked like a lot of brides 😉
