“Nick and I met our freshmen year at UCSB. When Halloween rolled around, a bunch of us were going to go out, duh. I decided on dressing up as Tinker Bell. Nick, without me asking or anything, decided to dress up as my Peter Pan. He even wore tights!!! He and I were pretty much inseparable, constantly texting and hanging out. We were on the beach dreading our Chemistry test with my roommate and a friend. It was dark but the stars were so clear. We saw a shooting star and both made a wish. I wished for an A on my chem test (typical). Before we left the beach he gave me a real kiss. He said his wish just came true. On November 26th, right after Thanksgiving break, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend. And that was that.
