“A Very Sweet Modern + Chic Downtown Sacramento Wedding for Jenny + Jesse”
Jenny + Jesse were the absolute sweetest couple to work with!! The one thing that stood out to me throughout our planning together and on their wedding day was how truly and deeply their love ran for each other. There are quite a few notable moments from their big day that will weigh on my heart forever!!
First, Mother Nature decided to crash Jenny + Jesse’s wedding day and we had to shift from our original plans for a beautiful terrace overlooking DoCo Sacramento to a ceremony inside due to the rain, windy, and cold temperatures! It was such a disappointment but Jesse told Jenny so long as we get married it’s all good and I knew the day was going to be amazing.
Secondly, watching those two sing at the top of my lungs “All My Life” to end their wedding will forever be one of my favorite wedding memories!! Jesse sang the song to Jenny and she cried absolute tears of happiness (I did too!!).
Lastly, Jesse’s dad gave a toast and explained how he does little things every day to remind himself that your wife is always right–putting her coffee cup on the right, making sure her shoes are lined up to the right of his, and walking with her on his right side. It was the sweetest toast coming from a Dad who’s been married almost 50 years.
It was an incredible wedding that I feel so lucky to be a part of!! This downtown Sacramento wedding at the Kimpton Sawyer was beautiful! The modern and chic style of the hotel was a perfect complement for their simple, yet classic wedding design. Top Three

They included Fun Fact napkins–one for Jenny and one for Jesse. It was fun to watch guests read the napkin and laugh at the fun facts!! This personal touch was my absolute favorite!

Upgraded chairs!! The black chairs anchored our entire design and made the biggest impact!! LOVE LOVE LOVE the look of them in the Kimpton!!

Jenny surprised her dad by playing a video clip of three year old Jenny and her dad dancing to the Beauty and the Beast song. They danced to this song for her Father + Daughter dance–these are the moments that melt my wedding planner heart!!!
