“From Vows to Dance Floor: A Day of Unforgettable Moments”

Ashton and Josiah booked Napa Wedding Planner, Sarah Bayer with Curated by Grace and White to help make their wedding day perfect. Josiah plays for the Packers and Ashton works in health care, they are both busy professionals and wanted a coordinator to help with the fine details and design.

Getting married in March can be challenging with the weather and that is exactly what happened. The day before their wedding a storm came through that was anticipated to last throughout the weekend. With good thoughts and a lot of prayers the skies cleared the morning of the wedding and the sun was shining. Ashton and Josiah’s faith has always been the foundation of their relationship and that same faith brought them a sunny day with unforgettable memories. Ashton and Josiah’s wedding was a special occasion. Their Park Winters wedding in Winters, CA epitomized elegance and joy. From their exchanging of vows to the dance floor, the day was filled with unforgettable moments that Ashton and Josiah will cherish forever.

Ashton and Josiah stood before their loved ones in front of Park Winters barn steps with luscious greenery framing the arbor. There were tears of joy, laughter, heartfelt moments, and a tangible sense of love in the air. A + J’s vision for the day was to have an elegant and warm feel throughout. We captured this by lining the reception tables with individual white flowers and a copious amount of candles. Their guests were greeted by soft lighting of the flickering candlelight, tables lined with elegant white flowers, and elevated linens and chairs.

When the dinner had past, and heartfelt speeches were made the dance party began! There is one phrase that could best describe the dancing and that is “middle school dance party”. Function 45 spun the best mixes from the 2000’s and everyone was enjoying themselves. Between smoke cannons and epic dance moves the atmosphere was electric! Their guests gathered around the couple, cheering them on and dancing like no one was watching.

There are a few moments that were my favorite from the day. Josiah and his mother choreographed a fun dance that hyped up the guests and was an absolute pleasure to watch. Ashton and Josiah also chose to cut their cake privately with just their parents. This was the perfect way to step away from the party and enjoy a sweet(pun intended) moment with just them. Lastly, no wedding is complete without a late night snack. Deep dish pizza was delivered from a close friend’s restaurant and was boxed up to be handed out. As guests were leaving, the Curated team handed the “to-go” boxes of pizza to the guests as they loaded up on the shuttle. The guests were so excited to have a snack for the trip back to the hotel. But our very favorite moment was their private last dance of the night.

Favorite Things:

  1. Choreographed dance

  2. Dance party

  3. Pizza
