“A classic yet modern romance in the vineyards of Sonoma County.”

When Sarah and Patrick hired Curated by Grace + White they were at the beginning of the planning process and hadn’t yet booked in a venue. Sarah’s family is originally from Napa Valley so we were looking for the perfect property that embodied not only the dreaminess of wine country but also was a blank slate to create the wedding of her dreams. When we toured a private estate run by Distinct Locations it was clear the property was perfect. We decided to mix textures of white and neutral florals along with pops of classic black elements + gold tones to create a natural marriage of styles.

The ceremony was set under a grove of trees surrounded by lush vineyards, overlooking the reception space and a modern barn as the backdrop. After seeing the space we knew we had to bring in an incredible production company and hired Flowers by Edgar to transform the estate into the wedding of their dreams. From a modern runway style white aisle to a custom black dining structure there were white flowers dripping from every corner of the wedding.

The most unique aspect of the wedding design was the custom floral flooring we commissioned using a pattern we loved from Ceci New York. The romantic, very light blush pink floral floor was the only “pop” of color throughout the wedding. We paired the patterned floor with creamy, textured white linens and black linen chairs. Velvet napkins with custom, hard backed menus adorned the tables and white flowers hung from the ceiling as well as covered the tables.

Sarah and Patrick cut into a magical, six tier wedding cake created by Palette Cakes with sugar flowers that matched the designs on her wedding gown. They danced the night away to a DJ/Band fusion Sounds Elevated who kept the dance floor packed until the last song.
