Double Happiness and Good Fortune for a Beautiful September Wedding at Park Winters
Curating Anna and Andy’s wedding is one of my brightest memories as a Winters wedding planner. From our very first meeting, I knew this would be a truly special celebration. Each check-in brought joy, and every decision reflected their warmth, thoughtfulness, and trust. What made this couple especially memorable was their full embrace of the planning process. They placed their confidence in my guidance and vendor recommendations, which allowed us to create something magical together.
When it came to design, Anna had a stunning Pinterest board filled with inspiration. After reviewing and refining her vision, we landed on a romantic garden palette featuring mauve and olive green. It was soft, timeless, and effortlessly elegant. Beyond the aesthetic, the couple was passionate about incorporating meaningful cultural elements. One standout detail was the use of the traditional Double Happiness symbol, which appeared throughout the celebration as a beautiful tribute to their Chinese heritage.
Favorite Design Moment
Another favorite design moment was the custom fortune cookie seating chart. Each cookie was personalized with handwritten fortunes by Anna and Andy, wishing their guests good luck and happiness. This thoughtful detail captured their creativity and added such a playful and memorable touch.
No element was overlooked. Palette Cakes crafted a dreamy dessert bar that tasted just as incredible as it looked. J Blooms filled the day with lush, fluffy garden roses. Fig and Olive elevated every space with exquisite signage. Extreme Productions kept the energy high on the dance floor all night long. Park Winters served as the perfect setting, while BBJ’s luxurious linens brought texture and polish. Paige Vaughn Photo captured every moment with warmth and grace, preserving memories we’ll all cherish.
Looking back at the photos still gives me chills. As a Winters wedding planner, moments like this remind me why I love what I do. Anna and Andy, I wish you endless joy, double happiness, and good fortune always. Thank you for trusting me with your beautiful day.
