Haley and Easton dreamed of an intimate wedding at their family’s cabin on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Private estate weddings require additional planning and care, but they offer unmatched beauty and meaning. Their vision was organic, romantic, and full of intention—and we were honored to bring it to life.

Everything was unfolding beautifully. The sun was shining, the setup was nearly complete, and the energy was high. But then, with no warning, the weather shifted. A dark cloud rolled in, and the clear skies turned to a 100% chance of thunderstorms.

Plan B

We had to make the difficult call to break down the entire wedding setup. Our team, along with Walnut & Main and As You Wish Catering, sprang into action. We had less than one hour to reset everything before guests arrived.

Without hesitation, we said yes—even though we had no idea how we’d pull it off. Thanks to a little grit, creativity, and the incredible Jess Miriam Photo, that moment came to life in the most magical way.

The wedding was filled with personal touches—from boho fairy flower girls to a carefully curated playlist. Each choice reflected who they are and what they love. It was the kind of day that reminds us why we do what we do.
