If had to pick one stand out thing from Laura + Alex’s wedding it was the VIBE!!! They have to be one of the coolest couples I’ve ever met. 

They both wanted a wedding that leaned into the season and all its beauty. Dixon Florist did not disappoint!! They brought all the moodiest, jewel toned florals that were absolutely perfect on the Park Winters farm tables. 

I really loved that Laura + Alex went with the flow. Their laidback energy radiated throughout the evening. The bridal party or party people wore attire they chose that fit the season and vibes Laura shared with them. The ceremony was so heartfelt and the way the fall sun glimmered in the trees was straight magic. The dinner vibes were celebratory and comfortable and it felt like they were hosting their loved ones in their own home. The golden hour photos were so romantic and straight out of a dream and then we let loose with the best dance floor party vibes. Their energy and love was so present throughout the day and it’s a feeling I’ll never forget!! 

Keep that in mind when you’re planning your wedding day–you want to enjoy it!! While having a beautiful design is so fun, you don’t want to be too wrapped up in the aethetics that you forget to have fun and enjoy your wedding day!! Take a page out of Laura + Alex’s ever cool vibes, go with the flow and HAVE FUN!! “Be happy, after all, it’s your wedding day!!” (If you can name that movie quote you are our soul mate!!)

Favorite Things

  1. MOODY SEASONAL VIBES–loved Laura’s color scheme, it was the perfect mix of moody and fall that was so GORGEOUS. 
  2. PARTY PEOPLE–I loved that Laura and Alex called their bridal party Party People and sort of let them lean into whatever they felt best wearing! 
  3. PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE–Laura + Alex picked a perfect photographer to capture their vibes and style.
