A Classic Yet Modern Romance in the Vineyards of Sonoma County

Finding the Perfect Venue

When Sarah and Patrick hired luxury wedding planner Curated by Grace + White, they were just starting their planning journey. They hadn’t yet selected a venue, so the search was on. Sarah’s family is originally from Napa Valley, making the area a meaningful choice. We wanted a property that embodied the dreaminess of wine country while offering a blank slate to design her dream wedding.

After touring several locations, we found a private estate managed by Distinct Locations. It was clear this property was perfect. The setting inspired a design concept of white and neutral florals, accented by classic black and gold tones. The result was a natural and elegant blend of styles.

A Stunning Ceremony

The ceremony took place under a grove of trees surrounded by lush vineyards. This idyllic spot overlooked the reception area, with a modern barn serving as the backdrop. To enhance the space, we brought in Flowers by Edgar, an incredible production company.

The team transformed the estate with a modern, runway-style white aisle and a custom black dining structure. White flowers cascaded from every corner, creating a dreamy, romantic atmosphere.

Unique Wedding Design by luxury wedding planner

One of the most unique elements of the wedding was the custom floral flooring. Inspired by a pattern from Ceci New York, we commissioned a light blush pink floral design. This flooring was the only “pop” of color in an otherwise neutral palette.

To complement the flooring, we used creamy, textured white linens and black linen chairs. Velvet napkins and custom hard-backed menus adorned the tables. Overhead, white flowers hung from the ceiling, adding depth and dimension to the space.

A Magical Reception

Sarah and Patrick’s reception was nothing short of magical. They cut into a stunning six-tier cake by Palette Cakes, adorned with sugar flowers that mirrored the designs on Sarah’s gown.

Guests danced the night away to a DJ and band fusion by Sounds Elevated. The dance floor stayed packed until the final song, a testament to the unforgettable energy of the evening.
