Love in Bloom: Matt and Holden’s
Park Winters Wedding
In the heart of Northern California’s countryside, Matt and Holden’s Park Winters wedding unfolded into a beautiful celebration of love, identity, and meaningful tradition. Held in the fall, this wedding embraced the warm tones of the season and the rich beauty of Park Winters, creating an unforgettable setting for their vows.
Originally from South Carolina, Holden said “yes” to Matt during a special proposal at the Kindred Spirit mailbox in Brunswick County, North Carolina. This iconic spot inspired one of the most touching details of the wedding. A replica of the mailbox was used as their card box, inviting guests to leave heartfelt messages just like visitors do on Bird Island. This personal touch connected their past with their future in the most symbolic way.
The couple incorporated LGBTQ+ pride in elegant and thoughtful ways. Each dinner table featured hand-selected LGBTQ+ quotes that highlighted love, resilience, and authenticity. These table quotes added depth to the celebration and celebrated the beauty of being true to oneself.
Before the ceremony, Matt and Holden shared an intimate getting-ready moment together at Park Winters. In the quiet stillness of the day, they helped each other prepare side by side which calmed nerves and deepened their connection ahead of the vows.
Beautiful Ceremony
The ceremony took place beneath a sprawling oak tree draped in lush garlands. A live trio played softly as guests gathered under the golden light of the setting sun. The scene was full of warmth, joy, and emotion as Matt and Holden stood hand in hand to exchange vows.
Their first dance was just as magical. It happened on the newly added back balcony of the Park Winters main house, offering sweeping views of the serene landscape. With the autumn sky behind them, they danced into a new chapter surrounded by love and support.
Every detail of this Park Winters wedding reflected Matt and Holden’s journey full of meaning, beauty, and deep connection. From Southern charm to Northern California elegance, their love story reminds us all of the power of inclusive celebration and personal storytelling.
