A Monet Inspired Summer Park Winters Wedding Filled with Personal Touches

A Monet inspired summer wedding in beautiful Northern California was the perfect way to describe Grace and Derek’s Park Winters wedding. From our very first conversation, I knew their design would be just as joyful and full of life as they were. Both Grace and Derek radiated kindness and energy, and we wanted their modern, romantic, and garden-inspired design to capture that spirit.

Their vision was simple yet unique: if Monet were to paint a wedding. They wanted their reception to feel like a masterpiece, and Dixon Florist brought that dream to life with floral artistry that felt straight out of a canvas. The florals, filled with movement and texture, perfectly set the tone for the day.

We kept the overall design elements clean and modern so the color palette could shine. Warm peaches, bright corals, delicate pinks, and touches of sage and dusty blue created a soft yet vibrant look. This palette was stunning against the natural backdrop of Park Winters and highlighted the beauty of the property.

Derek, a graphic designer, curated each paper item for the wedding. We worked with Fig + Olive Designs to complement his creations and tie in statement pieces that carried their vision throughout the day. Personal details made this Park Winters wedding unforgettable. The seating chart displayed tiny jars of honey as a nod to Bumble, where the couple first met. Grace and Derek also left handwritten notes for each guest, a meaningful touch that brought so much heart to the tables.

Their cocktail hour featured a Halo-Halo bar, while dinner included a roast lechon to honor Grace’s Filipino heritage. One of my favorite details was the gifts they gave their wedding party: each bridesmaid and groomsman received a pair of their favorite shoes for dancing the night away.

This Park Winters wedding was filled with joy, artistry, and thoughtful design details that made it one of the most memorable celebrations.
