Melany and Ted’s wedding at Carneros Resort and Spa was a stunning blend of modern romance, international heritage, and Napa Valley charm. The couple, who met in Ohio, brought their Dutch and Greek backgrounds into their design, creating a truly one-of-a-kind celebration.

With the help of Curated by Grace + White, their wedding was a seamless fusion of elegance, personality, and bold details. Set against the breathtaking vineyard views of Carneros, this wedding was the perfect balance between tradition and modernity, with unique elements woven throughout the day.

Design Inspired by Heritage & Modern Elegance

From the very beginning, Melany and Ted knew they wanted their Carneros Resort wedding to be an outdoor experience that embodied the beauty of Napa Valley. The resort’s natural stone courtyard and panoramic vineyard views provided the perfect backdrop for their romantic yet edgy aesthetic.

Melany’s Dutch heritage played a significant role in their wedding design. The couple incorporated Delft Blue patterns, a nod to traditional Dutch ceramics, into their table linens, vases, and bar décor. To modernize the look, they layered black and gold accents, creating a sophisticated yet daring ambiance.

The floral design team brought the vision to life with striking anemones (white flowers with black centers), dreamy floating hydrangea clouds at the ceremony, and elegant fireplace florals inside the reception space. These bold floral elements complemented the black tableware and chargers, further enhancing the modern, fashion-forward aesthetic.

A Wedding Full of Personalized Touches

Beyond the breathtaking design, Melany and Ted made sure their Carneros Resort wedding felt deeply personal. One of the most meaningful details was their seating chart, which featured a custom luggage tag display, a nod to their international roots. The evening was full of laughter, love, and celebration, as the band kept the dance floor packed all night.
