April 2023 | Park Winters
“A colorful, spring wedding filled with tradition, romance and laughter.”
When Irene and Zach chose Park Winters as their venue for their Spring 2023 wedding it was due to the romantic, garden landscape and pristine grounds. They hired Curated to help guide the overall design to feel as much like THEM as possible, so we landed on muted (but still colorful) floral tones and the dusty blue, black, and gold infused into the concept.
The ease of bringing the mauve, rose and peach colors into the florals meant that the blue and black accents would come from the outfits, signage, linens and other physical items. Bridesmaids dresses were SO fun to find and we selected a springy blue and white pattern for the three maids of honor plus a darker, dusty blue for the rest of the bridesmaids. The groomsmen (and groom) were in a classic black tux, the groom opting for a black shirt instead of white to stand out a bit.
For the linens, we paired a light blue velvet napkin with a darker blue textured runner on top of dark wooden farm tables. Menus were white with a neutral colored wax seal and we purchased taper candles from Yummi candles in a mauve/rose color. These along with bud vases from Dixon Florist provided a beautiful, colorful look. Sweet Tooth Ice Cream arrived for late night to serve affogatos and the dance party kicked off!!
Favorite Things:
-
The blue printed maids of honor dresses, very spring!
-
Single stem flowers for the bridesmaids instead of bouquets.
-
They incorporated a Korean Paebeck ceremony as well as a Light ceremony to honor their parents during cocktail hour.
