From Bridal Boutique to Wedding Planning

Alicia’s wedding planning journey began at Grace + White Bridal, where she was searching for the perfect dress. Her stylist, Hannah, also a planner at Curated by Grace + White, immediately connected with her vision. Alicia fell in love with a Tara Lauren long-sleeve, fit-and-flare gown, a perfect choice for the intimate and elegant wedding she envisioned.

During her dress appointment, Alicia shared that she and Mandy hadn’t chosen a venue yet but wanted to get married very soon. After a consultation call, our team quickly sprang into action, planning the entire wedding in just 80 days. A full day of venue tours led the couple to Carneros Resort, a setting that perfectly embodied the cozy, luxurious ambiance they had dreamed of. Its proximity to Sacramento made it convenient for their guests, giving them peace of mind as they planned in such a short timeframe.

A Bohemian-Inspired Napa Valley Wedding

Alicia and Mandy share a deep love for bohemian decor and rich fall colors, making Napa in autumn the perfect backdrop for their celebration. Their design process was seamless, as they quickly made decisions on florals, rentals, signage, and décor. As Napa Valley wedding planners, we loved bringing their vision to life with thoughtful details that reflected their personalities.

Their ceremony featured a stunning triangle arch adorned with pampas grass and fall-inspired florals, creating a romantic, nature-filled backdrop. The aisle was lined with lush blooms, adding a touch of warmth and elegance as they walked down the aisle.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the Courtyard and Harvest Patio, where a beautifully designed bar menu showcased three signature drinks, each named after their beloved dogs, Benji, Oso, and Sammy. A fortune cookie escort wall, honoring Mandy’s Asian heritage, featured custom fortunes about love, adding a personal and interactive touch.

A Warm and Intimate Reception with Cultural Tributes

As guests entered the dining space, they were welcomed by an inviting, candlelit atmosphere with stunning fall-colored tablescapes. Each place setting featured a rattan charger, white stoneware plates, gold flatware, and sage green water goblets, blending earthy elegance with modern details.

One of the most exciting moments of the evening was a surprise Lion Dance performance by Lion Dance Me, a special tribute to Mandy’s culture. Guests were captivated by the energy and tradition of the performance, making it a highlight of the night.

For dessert, a churro bar paid homage to Alicia’s Mexican heritage, offering guests a sweet and delicious treat as they danced the night away. Every element of this wedding was thoughtfully curated, ensuring that both families felt included and celebrated throughout the evening.
